A Way to Liliw

It was a fun and awesome day today. We went to Liliw and attended the anniversary celebration of Liliw Intervention Center. Kids and adult alike had so much fun and enjoyed playing games and showcasing their prepared song and dance numbers. Lunch was definitely a sumptous one. The staff and officers of Autism Resource Center were very busy for the occasion. It was a successful one. The one hour travel to that place is all worth it,especially that the greeneries along the way added calm and relaxation to the weary mind .

Asperger

I have met a person in the spectrum who is very articulate to tell me that he was diagnosed as Asperger. He is extremely fascinated with cars and seemed to be consumed by this interest that he excels in sculpting miniature cars of different sorts.

Bullying

The kid just came from her new school. She came home crying. She was bullied in her new school by her seatmate and was laughed at by her classmates. She was even told bad words and threatened by this classmate or her. I thought she will be spared from bullying since this school is supposed to be a Christian School. Anyway not all kids studying in a Christian school would be molded as such-with Christian values to be exact.
